Over ons

Stichting Zao NAFASI betekent ‘Creëren Kans’ in het Swahili en staat voor gelijke ‘kansen’ in het publieke onderwijs in Afrika. De stichting werd in het begin van 2008 opgericht door studenten van de Haagse Hogeschool ‘European Studies’. Onderleiding van Marie-Noelle Baba is NAFASI actief bezig met het organiseren van vele succesvolle inzamelingsacties en werd zelfs in 2009 als tweede genomineerd door het Kruisingafonds & Haags Hoge School voor ‘PRIJS BESTE LWE PROJECT 2009’! Inmiddels bestaat NAFASI uit een gevarieerd en internationaal groep.

Ons doel is aandacht richten op scholieren in achterbuurten in ontwikkelingslanden, met name Kameroen. Met dit project willen we de hoop teruggeven aan de jongeren en hen stimuleren om het verschil in andermans leven te maken door bewust te zijn van hun kracht. We willen ook dat de hulp direct bij de bewoners komt.

The nomination price of Kruisingafonds

16 June 2009 was the day when Nafasi’s team hear about the nomination by their teacher for the LWE project and the Kruisingafonds.

After our event in Amsterdam(30 may 2009), people were still talking about it and the project become more and more popular. It wasn’t a suprise when our teacher decided to put us on the list.

8 July 2009 was the day of the nomination price. Nafasi finish second on the list of 9 candidats.

Second or not, we feel like winners :):)

Charity Diner op 28 April 2011 !!

Meldt u nu aan voor het Charity Diner op 28 april 2011!!

Aanvangstijd: 19:00 uur.

De kosten per persoon bedragen € 100

Tijdens dit diner heeft u dé mogelijkheid uw netwerk uit te breiden en het project van deze zeer gedreven studenten te steunen. Het Charity Diner vindt plaats in het Keniaanse restaurant, Three Stones, op het Laan van Meerdevoort te Den Haag waarbij een jazz artiest voor een gezellige sfeer zal zorgen. Deze culinaire avontuur is een ‘must’ voor eenieder die graag een bijdrage wil leveren aan ontwikkelingsprojecten en die tegelijkertijd gecharmeerd is van de Afrikaanse cultuur.
